This page covers the most common issues and how to resolve them. If your problem is not listed, contact support.
Login and Account Access Issues
I can't log in
Possible causes and solutions:
- Caps Lock is on - check that Caps Lock is turned off.
- Wrong password - click "Forgot password?" on the login screen to reset it.
- Social login - if you signed up with Google or GitHub, use the corresponding button on the login page instead of email and password.
- Email not confirmed - check your inbox (and spam folder) for the activation email.
I didn't receive the organization invitation email
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Ask the administrator to resend the invitation.
- Confirm with the administrator that the correct email address was used.
I can't create an account with my email
Some email domains are blocked by Axoria's security policy. Use a valid personal or corporate email address. Temporary or disposable email domains are not accepted.
Permission Issues
"Access denied" when trying to open a project
Common causes:
- You are not a member of the project (private project).
- Your role was changed to Viewer or you were removed from the project.
Solution: Ask a project Manager or organization Admin to verify and update your permissions.
I can't create or edit issues
The Viewer role provides read-only access. Ask the Manager to change your role to Developer or Manager at Project → Settings → Members.
I can't move issues on the board
Check that:
- Your role is at least Developer (Viewers cannot move issues).
- The transition between statuses is permitted in the workflow (Settings → Board → Transitions).
- The destination column hasn't reached its WIP limit.
Board Issues
Issues are not showing on the board
- Check for active filters - click Clear Filters at the top of the board.
- Confirm the issue is in the correct sprint (if the board is filtered by sprint).
- Verify the issue's status has a corresponding configured column on the board.
- Archived or deleted issues do not appear on the board.
The board is slow or freezing
- Try refreshing the page (F5).
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Try a different browser to check if it's a local issue.
Upload Issues
Attachment upload fails
Check that:
- The file is an image (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP) - other formats are not accepted.
- The file size is less than 5 MB.
- The issue hasn't reached the maximum attachment limit (default: 3 per issue).
- Attachments are enabled in the project at Settings → Attachments.
The user or project avatar doesn't update
- Wait a few seconds and refresh the page.
- Try in an incognito tab to rule out a browser cache issue.
- Ensure the file is a valid image (JPG, PNG, WebP) smaller than 5 MB.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can an issue have multiple assignees?
Yes. Axoria supports multiple assignees per issue. All assignees receive notifications based on the project's notification rules.
How many projects can I create?
The limit depends on your organization's plan. Check and manage at Settings → Plan & Billing.
Can I import issues from Jira, Trello, or Asana?
Axoria supports issue import via CSV. Export your data from the source system as CSV, adjust the columns to match the template available at Project → Data → Import, then upload the file.
How do I share the board with someone who doesn't have an Axoria account?
Use a Public Token for the board: go to Settings → Public Tokens → Generate Token (type: Board). The generated link can be shared with anyone and provides read-only access.
How does time tracking work?
Open any issue and click ▶ Start to begin the timer. Click ⏹ Stop when you're done. Time entries are consolidated in the Time Report.
What happens to data when a project is deleted?
Deleting a project is permanent and irreversible. All issues, sprints, time entries, and attachments are removed. Export your data before deleting the project if you need to preserve it.
