Calendar
The Calendar View displays project issues organized by due date in a monthly grid. It is ideal for tracking deadlines, distributing workload, and identifying peak periods.
Accessing the Calendar
- Open the project and go to the Board.
- In the display mode selector, click the Calendar icon.
Navigating the Calendar
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| ‹ / › | Navigate to the previous/next month |
| Today | Return to the current month |
| Header | Displays the current month and year |
Issues in the Calendar
Each issue with a due date appears on the corresponding day as a colored card showing:
- Issue key (e.g.,
PRJ-42) - Shortened title
- Priority color indicator
- Issue type icon
Issues without a due date do not appear in the calendar. To include them, edit the issue and set a Due Date.
Opening an Issue
Click an issue card to open the side panel with the issue's full details.
Completed Issues
Issues in DONE-type columns are displayed with reduced opacity, making pending items visually stand out on the same days.
Creating Issues from the Calendar
Click any empty date in the calendar to create a new issue with that date pre-filled in the Due Date field.
The creation form opens with:
- Due date already set
- Title, type, priority, and assignee fields available
Filters in Calendar View
Board filters also apply to the calendar view:
| Filter | Effect |
|---|---|
| Assignee | Show only issues assigned to the selected member |
| Type | Filter by issue type (Bug, Task, etc.) |
| Priority | Filter by urgency level |
| Sprint | Show issues from a specific sprint |
Usage Tips
- Identify peak workload - days with many due dates may indicate team overload.
- Redistribute deadlines - open an issue from the calendar and adjust its due date directly in the panel.
- Combine with Kanban - use the calendar to prioritize upcoming-deadline issues and ensure they're in IN_PROGRESS on the board.
- Filter by assignee - check each team member's deadline distribution individually.
